4. MDM Work center status and categories

We continue with the status and categories section of your work center. We help you determine the root cause of a defect or problem within your production process that prevents you from reaching higher levels of productivity.

Let's start setting it up!

In the first two sub-sections, work center status and time loss categories, you will find the status of the existing machines and their work loss categories with their respective codes. This is more than all informative so that you understand the categories of lost time and their statuses.

In the last sub-section you must configure the Time losses reasons, which is the description of why the loss of time occurs.

1. Click on the "+" so you can add a new reason.

2. Select the state with the wasted time category it belongs to.

3. Describe and specify the reason for that loss of time.

4. Lastly, you must select at what level this loss of time affects, whether at the level of site, building, production line, operation, group of work centers and work centers.

5. Create your reason and you are done with your configuration.
