5. MDM Quantity Calculations
How to configure your quantity calculations?
We continue with the quantity calculations section where you will determine the data source for the calculation of your indicators.
Let's start setting it up!

We will start with the calculation of parts. It is recommended to select primary quantity that is based on the count of the operator or the other option that you can select is secondary quantity that is based on the count of the machine.

We then continue with secondary quantity calculations to calculate good parts and bad parts.
The calculation of good parts is equal to
- Good Parts (Output) = Total Parts (Input) - Bad Parts (Output)
The calculation of bad parts is equal to
- Bad Parts (Output) = Total Parts (Input) - Good Parts (Output)

Finally, the calculation of the OEE is configured, which is the measure of efficiency and effectiveness of a process or machine, being the relationship between the fully productive time and the planned production time.
In this option you will define if you want the calculation of this indicator to be automatic, that JIKKO detects the bottleneck based on the operation with the lowest OEE, or if you want the calculation to be done manually.

And voila, you have defined your quantity calculations! :)
