4. Material creation
Let’s move forward with material creation. From the home page of JIKKO we will click on "Modules", the first icon on your left in the menu sidebar, and go to "Inventory Management", all the sections within will be displayed, we will select the first option named "Materials".

Later on, we will immediately see a list with all our materials and the related information. Right now, we don’t have any, so let’s create the first one. We will click on the button “Add material” in the upper right corner.
A form is going to show up, and the information for us to fill up is divided into three columns:
- Material Information
- Stock Information
- Additional information

Let’s create the first one.
The idea is to give as much information as you need, but only the "Bold" titles are the mandatory fields.

Material Information
1. Ok, first Material Number. We’ll call it "MAT1" as the default given name; the description will be simple "Eggs".
2. Material Type is "Raw Material".
3. On the Material category, we’ll select “Meat, Fish and Eggs” and the subcategory is “Eggs”.
Material Information
1. Safety stock is the minimum amount of material you should have, which will allow you to know when it is time to buy more, for example, 6 eggs.
2. Max Stock is going to be the maximum amount of material that your location can store; in our case, we will say 48 eggs.
3. Minimum order quantity is 12 for us because we buy them by dozens.
4. The Unit cost is 0,2 euros, and its unit will be a unit.
Additional information
1. Image, in order to have a visual characterization of the material we are creating. We suggest you upload a picture, which could be from files or paste the URL.
The other elements, such as measures and packages can be filled up if needed.
At last, click on “Create material” and we are done!
