6. Routes creation
How to create a Route
In this tutorial, we will show you the way to create and define Routes.
To get into this functionality, we will click on "Modules" and select from the "Order Management" module the "BOM & Routes" section.

We can clearly see the interface is divided into three main sections:
1. Routes: The sequence of steps or operations to be carried out successively to produce something or get a work order done.
For each route, there could be one or more BOMs.
2. BOM: Also known as the bill of materials, which details components required at every operation previously defined.
3. Workflow: The workflow column will clearly visualize each Route or BOM created when you click on them.

Let’s begin by creating a Route.
To do so click on the button "Create Route"

Follow these steps to create a route:
1. First, we will give it a Code
2. Next, add the name of the route
3. Now, the description is optional.
4. Now, we will add each operation; for that, on the center column, we click the drop-down list and select all operations needed.
Note
- If, by mistake, the workflow is not in the right order, you can simply drag and drop to organize it as you need to.
- Also, by clicking on the "x" icon, you can delete the operation.
Restrictions
There’s the restriction icon, where you can define which specific work center you want the operation to go through.
When done, we just click on “Create route,” and that’s it.
Now on the workflow column, we will have a clear visualization of the group of operations we just defined as our first route.
